Background
I'm Isaac Davenport, an IT Systems Engineer based in Tacoma, WA with 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT environments. I hold a B.S. in Cloud Computing and Systems Administration from Western Governors University and an A.A.S.-T in Computer Networking & Information Systems Security from Clover Park Technical College.
I currently work at Ontinue, specializing in identity and access management, endpoint administration, and SaaS infrastructure - building automation across platforms like Jamf, Microsoft Entra, Okta, Intune, and Jira to streamline operations, strengthen security posture, and improve reliability at scale.
Interests
Outside of work, I run a homelab built around Unraid and Docker - NAS storage and home automation humming along together, network-wide DNS filtering covering every device on the network, and Uptime Kuma quietly watching over it all behind the scenes.
I'm also a bit of a health nut - I exercise regularly and practice intermittent fasting. When I'm not working out or tinkering with the homelab, you'll find me messing with old tech and hardware, doing video production, building Legos, playing retro games, collecting presidential election memorabilia, or eating Chick-fil-A.
